SAN ANGELO – San Angelo Stadium will have an empty look tonight as all three local football teams: the Lakeview Chiefs, the Central High Bobcats and the Angelo State University Rams are on the road.

The Chiefs after having an open date last weekend, get back into district play as they travel north to play the Lubbock High Westerners; kick-off is scheduled at 4 p.m. from Lowery Field Plains Capital Park, located at 66th & Ave P St.

The Chiefs are 2-5 on the season,(0-1) in district while the Westerners, are 3-7 on the season, (0-2) in district. 

Meanwhile the Bobcats 6-1 on the season, (1-1) in district, travel west to play the Odessa High Bronchos. Odessa High is 2-5 on the season (02-)in district. Central is in a four way tie for second place with Abilene, Midland High and Midland Lee while Odessa Permian leads the district at 2-0. Kick-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. from Ratliff Stadium. 

As for ASU, the 24th ranked, Rams head to Blackwater Draw to play the Eastern New Mexico Greyhounds. The Rams, 5-2 on the season are tied with Eastern New Mexico in the Lone Star Conference, (2-2). 

Kick-off is set for 2 p.m. CDT/ 1 p.m. MDT.
