DEL RIO,TX–"There is no foot print too small that it cannot leave an imprint on this world."-Unknown

Silent Blessings will be hosting a Remembrance Event for the babies that have been lost.  The event will take place on Saturday, December 3rd, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Walter D. Leverman Ram Stadium.

The event will start with open prayer, will give a brief history on what Pregnancy and Infancy Loss Awareness Month entails, and will give those who have lost a baby an opportunity to say their child's name.  The walk together will end with a closing a prayer and a balloon release on the DRHS Football Field.

Silent Blessings is a non-profit organization working with local communities to ensure that families, women, men, siblings, family members, friends, etc have a support system right after the loss of a baby, by raising awareness concerning Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance.  Silent Blessings' main goal is to aid in educating communities and finding resources for those affected by a loss of an infant due to miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, molar pregnancy, stillbirths, birth defects, SIDS, and other causes.

This event, that began last year on October 17, 2015, was created by Naoko and Andrew Rodriguez in honor of October's National Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, declared in 1988 by Ronald Regan.
